What we collect when you ask for a quote or text us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we use it to do your job, and we never sell it.

1. Who we are
K. Ferreira's Junk Removal & Property Services (“K. Ferreira’s,” “we,” “us”) is a junk removal and property services company based in Westport, MA. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, our quote form, phone calls, texts and email, and how we use and protect it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, you may give us:
- your name, phone number and email address
- your town or job address
- the service you need, details about the job, and photos you send
- your preferred contact method and your text-message choices
If you book a job, we also keep job notes, scheduling details and payment records. If you pay by card, the card is processed by our payment processor, and we don’t store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and quote form may collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit and the site that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar tools used by our website platform and its spam protection.
3. How we use your information
- to respond to your request and give you a quote
- to schedule and do the job, and to send updates about it
- to handle billing, records and customer service
- to send offers and seasonal reminders, only if you opted in to marketing messages
- to keep our website and form working and protect them from spam and abuse
- to follow the law and resolve disputes
4. Text messages
We text you only if you agreed to it. Our quote form has two separate, optional checkboxes: one for service messages about your quote, scheduling and job updates, and one for marketing messages such as offers, discounts and seasonal reminders. Consent isn’t a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only exception is the service providers that deliver our messages for us, such as our messaging platform and phone carriers.
5. How we share information
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their marketing. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the business, such as our website, form, CRM and messaging platform (HighLevel/LeadConnector), our website host, our email provider, phone and text carriers, and payment processors. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public
- with a buyer or successor if the business is sold or reorganized, under this same policy
6. Cookies
Our site and quote form use cookies and similar tools that are needed for the form to work and to block spam. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the form may stop working.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to quote, schedule and do your job, keep business and tax records, and handle any follow-up. If you opt out of texts, we keep a record of that so we don’t text you again.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work, and we use password-protected accounts with trusted service providers. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.
9. Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to opt out, at any time.
- Email: ask us to stop, and we will.
- Access, correction or deletion: call, text or email us to see the information we have about you, fix it or ask us to delete it. We’ll do so unless we need to keep it for legal or business records.
10. Children
This website isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11. Other websites
Our site links to other sites, like Google and Facebook. Their own privacy policies apply to what you do there.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
